Teachers' TV is an innovative and independent public service digital television channel and broadband service. It provides professional support and resources to the schools workforce in England, providing access to all of its broadcast content on line.

Project Requirements
Teachers' TV is at its centre a core of creative and editorial function. This is dependent on an internal departments providing broadcast, marketing, editorial and creative input. The organisation is then linked to a large number of closely working third parties who provide program content, or distribute the finished programs either via satellite, terrestrial, cable broadcast or by Internet based means. Teachers' TV needed a secure and scalable network design that would provide for all of the requirements of their internal operation but would also provide scalable connectivity to a wide range of partner companies. 
The Solution
Layer3 Systems took the existing network and reorganised its design to accommodate a flexible approach to integrating new business partners using a standard range of approaches. A combination of VPN, leased line and LAN Extension links were used to provide varying degrees of secure and performant connectivity. Layer3 also provides support to monitor and maintain operation of the system as well as providing on going development as new features are required.
